Homelessness has exploded across Arizona as economic hardship caused by COVID-19 and inflation. Evictions are also on the rise as court cases start piling up after last year’s end to a federal moratorium that protected renters affected by COVID-19.
Urban AZ assists the homeless community in Arizona by:
Providing Meals
Urban AZ provides meals such as sandwiches as well as beverages.
Providing Essential Items
Essential need items include: Blankets, socks, hygeine kits, sun screen, etc.
Currently, Urban AZ is able to provide warm meals and essential need items to 10 homeless indivuduals a month.
Our goal is to be able to provide warm meals and essential need items to at-least 50 homeless indivuduals weekly as well as provide more services such as showers.
